About this entry: Oxford College is a two-year undergraduate division of Emory University. It is located on the original site of Emory, about 40 minutes east of the university’s Atlanta campus. Consisting entirely of first-year and sophomore students, Oxford College is a unique place, both inside Emory and in higher education. It’s a diverse, close-knit community full of intellectually curious students who go on to make a difference when they arrive on Emory’s Atlanta campus as juniors and after they graduate. Informed by a discovery process consisting of multiple stakeholder interviews and focus groups, a website was created for Oxford College that addresses its distinctive personality and needs and explains the college and its role in Emory undergraduate education to the prospective students, parents, and high school counselors who are the website’s main audiences.
