About this entry: As Sherman College continues its rise as a leader in chiropractic education, it became crucial that the college also commit to providing a consistent brand and image to portray a unified, professional identity and resonate with our intended audiences.
With a one-person Marketing/Communications Office at the time of this guide’s initial development, capacity for that office to help with publications, communications, speeches, social media, design and more was sometimes limited. Seeking to unite and share college messaging and branding campus-wide, and to create a more cohesive image and identity, the college embarked on a full-scale branding project.
The college developed a comprehensive brand guide to explain how Sherman College presents itself to the world through its key marketing messages, logos, mascot, brand colors, fonts, photography and design. Our aim was for this guide to become a helpful resource for employees as they worked on their own or with the Mar/Comm to develop communications, presentations and other projects on behalf of Sherman College.
The brand guide development dovetailed with a logo update, a successful website redesign and a redesign of admissions marketing materials and the college alumni magazine, bringing Sherman College’s brand to a new level of professional identity and recognition.
