From the judges: The viewbook design has high-energy, which would be incredibly engaging to young adults. Creative had a nice balance of school colors with other colors to show campus and Oxford life/energy. The piece dives into every aspect of Ole Miss culture, campus, and student life--a great way to show the "Hotty Toddy" lifestyle.

About this entry: After relying in previous editions on generic imagery and outdated design, the University of Mississippi marketing team decided to reimagine its admissions viewbook and accompanying materials sent to prospective students. Armed with updated brand standards (developed in partnership with Ologie) and a clearer understanding of the target audience from updated market research (conducted by Carnegie Dartlet), the project team sought to create a viewbook that captured the energy and vitality of a flagship public university located in a charming Southern college town. Out were hackneyed descriptions of academic programs relied on for years. … In was a vivid portrait of our student body and campus life as told through vibrant photography and mini-profiles of nine undergraduate students. As a result, the university shined brighter because of how the viewbook captured the personality and spirit of the student experience at Ole Miss.
